Year 5 & 6 students from Henry Chadwick Primary School dropped in to use the library to research their projects on ‘Events That Shook the World’.
The students were researching key events – ranging from the Titanic to World War Two – and producing PowerPoint presentations to present their findings. There were animations, fly-ins and linked clips galore – enough to out-point any adult.
Lottie Hearn, Assistant Headteacher, said: “The students were fantastic – enthusiastic, keen to impress and hugely enjoyed the independence afforded to them by each having their own computer to work on their presentations. We have great links with Henry Chadwick, and so many local primary schools, and this was a lovely opportunity for the students to prepare themselves for the step up to secondary level.”
