Dear Parents / Carers,
As you may be aware, this week all students in Johnson House have been competing fund-raising activities to raise money for our House charity of St Giles Hospice in Lichfield. It is a fantastic cause which does amazing work in our local community supporting patients with potentially incurable illnesses and also families who are grieving from the loss of a loved one. It is a cause close to home for many of us.
This week we are aiming to raise as much money as possible (we are in competition with the other Houses!) by completing a range of fund-raising activities. These include ‘The Great Fair Trade Bake Off’, a 24-hour sponsored silence, a morning and after-school hot chocolate café and many more.
We would really appreciate your support in adding to our donations. We are asking parents, family members and friends to donate what they can to our cause using your Parent Pay account. You will find there is a link to donate whatever you can to St Giles Hospice on your account home page where you normally top-up money for our school canteen system. To access the home page, please use: www.parentpay.com
More information on our charity can be found at: www.stgileshospice.com.
Thank you for all of the support you are able to offer us in our fund-raising efforts.
Yours faithfully,
The Johnson House Council
