Students from all year groups attended a law presentation as part of our Raising Aspirations programme where students are informed of the milestones they need to surpass to get to their chosen career.
The talk was led by the Sixth Form team and covers the steps through GCSEs, into A-Levels and off to university and beyond.
Carrie Cain, Assistant Headteacher, said: “We are taking our programme down into the younger years groups as we firmly believe that students have a better chance of reaching their chosen destination if they are crystal clear on what they need to do to get there. Of course, a vague idea in Year 9 will not necessarily be the final outcome, but at least seeing the steps along the way helps inform other choices and routes.”
