Year 7 pupils and student leaders from Johnson House visited the ‘Samuel Johnson Birthplace Museum’ as part of an English gifted and talented project.

The staff at the museum were fantastic in teaching us all about this inspirational historical figure. It was especially interesting for those pupils in Johnson House the learn about the many achievements of Dr Johnson.

Mrs Male, Head of Johnson house said: “The Y7 pupils and student leaders will now use what they have learnt to produce an article about the life and career of Samuel Johnson. This will be shared with all pupils in the school so they can benefit from the fascinating research we have done today”.
