We are always keen to support local initiatives that bring our community together and so were delighted to get involved in the District Council’s ‘Lichfield and District Live at Home Scheme’.
The scheme is a community based project offering a voluntary friendship and support service to older people, with a particular emphasis on the quality and meaning of life for older people.
Our students and staff dropped in at Curborough Community Centre to give some renditions from ‘My Fair Lady’ – being performed Wednesday-Saturday this week – and to mingle with attendees.
Lottie Hearn, Assistant Headteacher, said: “This is a fantastic scheme and we were thrilled to be able to contribute. It is great to have our students out-and-about in their local community and if the show can brighten anyone’s day then it is well worth getting involved.”
