Year 5 students from St Stephen’s Primary School performed fantastically well in an exciting and challenging Science workshop which prepared them for future space exploration.
The students faced a number of ‘out-of-this-world’ missions, including the design of a space buggy to traverse the rocky landscape of Mars, and spent a highly productive day with Science staff preparing for their future jobs in the British Space Agency.
David Brown, Head of Science, said: “We have had a wonderful day with the students and staff from St Stephen’s. The understanding, creativity and enthusiasm of the Year 5’s was superb and we hope to continue the journey with them when they move to secondary school in a couple of years’ time.”
