The casting sessions have been complete and the rehearsals are well under way. The school is geared up for ‘My Fair Lady’ with shows due to run during W/B 20th November and ticket details will be released shortly.
The cast list sees established ‘Friary stars’ as well as some new blood coming through as well. The headline roles include Lily Hutt (Eliza Doolittle), Jake Eyles (Professor Higgins) and Tom Hayward (Alfred Doolittle). Furthermore, there are plenty of extras so the stars in Year 7-8 are also getting their first taste of the stage lights and big audiences.
Lottie Hearn, Assistant Headteacher, said: “The show is shaping up superbly well and is on course to match the high standards that are pulled out each and every year. ‘My Fair Lady’ is a wonderful show and I am confident the incredibly talented cast will do it justice.”
