The end of term saw the LAMDA Award rewards come in with excellent grades and a 100% pass rate.

LAMDA (London Academy of Music & Dramatic Art) Awards are given by one of the UK’s oldest and most respected awarding bodies. They have offered practical examinations in communication and performance subjects for over 130 years. Their qualifications have helped hundreds of thousands of candidates of all ages and abilities to develop lifelong skills and the Awards count towards UCAS applications and are respected by employers.

Amidst superb results, Mille Murphy, Jennifer Rose, Esme Wade, Bethan McCormick, Oliver Willett, Lily Hutt, Jake Eyles and Lauren Orgill stood out as they got the highest Distinction grade.

Lottie Hearn, Assistant Headteacher, said: “We are tremendously proud of our Performing Arts team and these results – which sit outside the mainstream curriculum – are wonderful and reflect the commitment of both students and staff towards extra-curricular activities.”
