After big successes in Year 8 and Year 10 Rounders, the Year 7 Rounders Team continued the excellent performances by taking second place in the Cannock & District Tournament.
This was the teams first competition so reaching the final was highly creditworthy and though they missed out on victory the runners-up place was a superb effort.
Matt Allman, Headteacher, said: “The strength and depth of the rounders teams is superb and reflects so well on the training and motivation led by the PE Department. I know the girls have enjoyed representing the school and we are proud to have them competing for us.”
