Over the weekend the PTA staged a ‘Paint The School Day’ as part of the on-going support through the school year which is raising record funds for the school.

Around 20 volunteers came in on Saturday to undertake a range of decorating jobs that improve the environment and show that there is great deal of care for our school site.

The improvements covered railings, hand-rails, doors, and vents and the day was supported by Deryk Law on the PTA who provided all the paints and equipment.

Looking ahead, the wine-tasting event at Worth Brothers, the Summer Raffle, the Summer Sizzler and the bars at the KS3 Production are all on the horizon and the more people who get involved the better.

Matt Allman, Headteacher, said: “We are so fortunate to have such an active and successful PTA and it was exciting to see the enthusiasm and determination to get the jobs done. Many of those little jobs around the site that other under-funded Staffordshire schools struggle to get done are now shiny and new and this is solely down to this committed group of parents and staff.”
