Prize-Giving Evening 2026

Tuesday evening saw families, teachers and guests gather to recognise the achievements and contributions of students across a range of categories.

Special guests included Jane Mckenzie, Chair of Governors, and representatives from Lichfield Science and Engineering Society, who very kindly sponsor one of our awards.

Our Head Girl and Boy, Hannah and Alex, gave the welcoming address. Musical interludes were provided by the very talented Caleb, on piano, and Maisie on flute - with both also being award winners on the night.

For Year 10 students there were:

13 subject awards for achievement and progress in individual subjects during Key Stage 3 (Years 7 - 9)
8 House awards (2 per House) recognising overall commitment and contribution to school life

For Year 12 students there were:

21 subject awards for achievement and progress in individual subjects at GCSE (or equivalent)
8 House awards (2 per House) recognising overall commitment and contribution to school life

In addition:

4 Year 9 students were recognised for Outstanding Achievement in their Year 8 Character Award
4 students from various Years won a Debating Award for their performances in competitions
There was a Sportsperson of the Year Award
4 Headteacher Awards recognised students who were very deserving, for various reasons, but did not necessarily meet the criteria above.
