Friary Footballers Bounce Back

Friary 4-2 Codsall

After last week's heartbreak of being knocked out of the ESFA National Cup, the Year 10 Boys responded with an excellent 4–2 victory in a game that showcased some fantastic battling qualities, alongside some outstanding passing and attacking football.

Captain Jimmy D was at the heart of the performance, scoring two goals and putting in an outstanding display. His link-up play was excellent throughout, helping to create opportunities and keep the team moving forward.

Zac H also made a huge contribution, scoring one goal and working tirelessly up front; he also provided an assist.

Jonny B completed the scoring with a well-taken goal from a corner and produced another excellent performance in defence. His strength and composure at the back helped the team manage the game effectively.

Man of the Match – Tommy H

An outstanding performance in middle of midfield. Great tackles and long balls linking play.
