Our Sixth Form student voted overwhelmingly to support our local refugee charity, Lichfield District City of Sanctuary charity, in order to support displaced people from some of the world’s most troubled spots who have settled in the district and city of Lichfield.

Their recent fund-raising acidity was a Halloween fancy dress day which saw payments and donations for the charity, as well as a wide range of crazy and imaginative outfits that got the whole school talking.

Helen Barratt, Assistant Headteacher, said: “The Sixth Formers threw themselves wholeheartedly into the dress up day and raised valuable funds for their chosen charity. We encourage our students of all ages to take the lead in their fund-raising, to take ownership of who they raise funds for, and to plan in the fun and energy that makes school days happy. This day was a great success and I know there are more to come?”
