The Friary School’s annual whole-school show will be Grimm Tales. These stories are a collection of German fairy tales written by the Brothers Grimm which were first published in 1812.

The full collection includes hugely popular Disney favourites such as Cinderella and Rapunzel but the full range runs to over 200 stories. Indeed, the full list of stories can be seen here.

The shows will run between Thursday 1 December – Saturday 3 December:

Evening – Thursday 1 December – 19:30-22:00

Evening – Friday 2 December – 19:30-22:00

Matinee – Saturday 3 December – 14:00-16:30

Evening – Saturday 3 December – 19:30-22:00

The tickets cost £10 for adults and £8 for concessions and are available from The Friary School Box Office.

The shows will be supported by our PTFA where cast photos, programmes and refreshments will be available.

Lottie Hearn, Deputy Headteacher, said: “We always look to be creative with our stage shows and this fantastic collection of tales will bring a bit of Christmas, a bit of fairy dust, a bit of scarefest, and huge fun too. With the refurbished theatre, the new stage and theatre lighting, and an amazing cast these will be shows too good to miss.”
