Our commitment to provide the best possible school facilities has continued over the Easter Break with the extension of the School Library.
The improvements have brought an increased number of computers, redecoration and re-carpeting in order to ensure the facilities are equipped for whole-class learning and have the maximum possible computers for our homework clubs.
The School Library now has extended opening hours (8.30am-4.30pm) and the facilities are regularly used for Saturday School.
Matt Allman, Headteacher, said: “The extended library was an important part of enabling our students to take a greater responsibility for their own learning and with changes to the school day for September we wanted to ensure we provided a high-quality base for homework clubs. There is still lots to do with our site but the new Sixth Form, Student Support, Learning Hub, etc, show the momentum we are building as our school site gets better and better.”
