Over the course of the Spring Term a super-enthusiastic group of students took part in a course run by Superstar Academy (http://superstar-academy.co.uk/).

They developed their skills in acting, singing, dance, presenting and DJ-ing – though most importantly they had a great time.

Rachel White, the course tutor, was really impressed with how the students threw themselves into everything and developed their confidence and performance skills.

Mr Forster, Assistant Headteacher, said: “The students who took part had a great time. I was struck by their energy and talents, with the fun they were having and there is no doubt that the Superstar Academy is a fantastic part of our newly extended extra-curricular provision.”

The success of the programme means it will run again through the Summer Term. It starts on Tuesday 25th April and runs weekly for 10 weeks.

Mr Forster added: “Students received letters about the course before Easter and a lot have already signed up which is great to see. There are a few places left on the course so if your child is interested and they need another letter, they are available from reception.”
