This weekend saw just short of 50 KS4 student come into Saturday School – weekly 9.30-11.30am – to undertake Maths booster work and some Textiles prep work.
Teaching staff gave up their weekend to support our students along who lapped up the free tuition – as well as the chance to wear ‘non-uniform’ to school and guzzle free chocomilk from the drinks machine.
Lottie Hearn, Assistant Headteacher, said: “The Saturday School is proving massively popular and reflects the determination and commitment of so many of our students and staff to get the best possible grades. There was a real buzz about the place, lots of light-bulb moments, and if every Saturday is as good as this then I will be in every week.”
