Having suffered a 4-0 defeat earlier in the season, The Friary put out its strongest U14 team against a strong Denstone side to seek to mete out revenge for an uncharacteristic defeat.
Despite dominating the first half, The Friary could only find a single goal when their display deserved a far greater lead. Unsurprisingly, Denstone came out firing in the second half and in a tighter encounter managed to take a 2-1 lead
With seconds left on the clock, The Friary team earned a short-corner and a well-rehearsed routine saw Charlie Allarton make no mistake in blasting an equaliser past the keeper.
The 2-2 score reflected an excellent game with Sam Grainger awarded player-of-the-match for his strong running and amazing dribbling.
