The U13 Girls Hockey Team showed fantastic skill and determination to win this prestigious tournament and quality for the Midlands Finals at the end of the month.
The team scored an incredible 17 goals in the tournament with Captain Scarlett Roche-Allen taking 9 of them and Tilly Perryman scoring 7.
The group games saw victories against Stafford Grammar, Newcastle High and St Edward’s, though there was a 2-0 defeat to Wolverhampton Grammar.
These results took the team into a semi-final against King Edwards – a match that saw a 2-0 victory.
The final was against Wolverhampton Grammar but the nemesis from the early rounds were soundly beaten 4-1 and the team crowned District champions and securing a place in the Midlands Finals.
