Elsewhere, the Y8s started well with the defensive skills of Hannah Fishwick to the fore and after going behind a spirited fight-back saw sharp shooting from Scarlett Roche-Allen and Poppy Spanner. The result was decided by the odd-goal and could have gone either way. Two strong teams in an impressive match-up.
