The ups-and-downs of comptetive sport were in abundance in the recent netball matches against Nether Stowe with wins and defeats the orders of the day.
The Year 7s secured a 7-5 victory in a neck-to-neck encounter which went our way thanks to sharp shooting from Sophie Freeman and vital interceptions by Aiobh Murray. The result was achieved through a superb final quarter when the whole team pulled together to get over the line.
On the other hand, the Year 9s were defeated by the same their Nether Stowe counterparts who defended superbly and barely missed a shot all game. Even so, the girls are not down-hearted and already in training for their February matches.
