The work by the St Stephen’s, Fradley, Year 5 students was superb but we wanted to share with you the ‘Christmas Wish / Prayer’ work of Evie.
Evie’s prayer entitled ‘The Wish’ read:
“That this Christmas everyone is happy.
This Christmas I wish people will think about what Christmas is really about.
I wish that the people who want someone to make it to Christmas will be able to spend a happy Christmas with them.
Amen.”
Matt Allman, Headteacher, said: “Evie’s message is a lovely one and it is well worth us all remembering that it won’t be the presents and parties that we remember twenty years from now, it will be the family and the friends that are no longer with us who will be in on our hearts. Evie’s message is one we can all reflect on this Christmas.”
