The U13 Girls A & B teams performed supremely well in a regional hockey tournament including EDA, King Edwards and Kingsmead – with the A team coming out top of the pile.
Friary A won all of their matches with Scarlett Roche-Allen scoring 3 and Connie Wadlow a double.
Meanwhile, Friary B came third in their tough group with an excellent Grace McCue goal the highlight.
Again, there was huge support from our fantastic parents and the icicles on Ms Fallows and Mr Hickman’s hands which formed during umpiring have even started to melt. Mr Allman, Headteacher, said: “The excellent coaching at the school and the continued support from Lichfield Hockey Club mean we have superb hockey sides across the school.”
