The Friary’s Interact Club is a fund-raising organisation led by students, working alongside the Rotary Club of Lichfield St Chad, in order to raise funds for good causes and to interact with the local community.
There have been a string of excellent projects but the most recent one has seen collections made of cuddly toys for the Teddy Trust.
The Teddy Trust collections are then distributed to children who would otherwise miss out on having their own toy to cuddle and care for.
Lottie Hearn, Assistant Headteacher, said: “We are so proud of the on-going work of the Interact Club, supported by Sam Ellicott from the Rotary, and the choice of the Teddy Trust is all the more pertinent as we move into the festive period.”
