The Friary & Kingsmead shared the spoils in some high quality netball matches with Y10 losing out 11-7 but Y8 dominating to win 8-2.
The Y10 match ebbed-and-flowed with both sides showing great defensive and attacking skills but, despite ‘Girl of the Game’ Kayley Smith’s excellent perseverance and play under pressure, the side were inched out at the final whistle.
On the other hand, our Y8 team dominated throughout with excellent speed and decision-making, and Lauren Riley’s superb control saw her win ‘Girl of the Game’.
