On Tuesday 8th November the MFL Department worked with Years 3-4 students from Henry Chadwick Primary School on a quick-fire French session designed to introduce them to French and to generate their enthusiasm for foreign languages.
The session saw 30 fantastic youngsters working on greetings and songs, all swept along by the energy and enthusiasm of our Head of MFL, Mrs Grigg.
The children thoroughly enjoyed the session with remarks including: “It was brilliant” and “Can we come again ?”
This event was only one in a series of sessions that have taken place with local primary schools as we work in partnership to make sure the switch from primary to secondary is as smooth as possible.
