On 7th November the Year 7 Netball Team played their first competitive match against EDA and, though they narrowly lost 3-1, all the signs were there for a team that is only going to grow and grow in stature and success.
The girls played superbly – fantastic interceptions, lots of possession, accurate passing and superb team work. However, rather like Stoke City, excellent build up play wasn’t finished off with balls in the net.
The Girl of the Match was Georgina O’Donnell for excellent overall skills but we are all proud to have such a magnificent group of Y7 netball players who have years of success ahead of them.
