The PTA has set the ambitious target of a £10,000 fund raise to improve school ICT facilities and part of this scheme was the first termly ‘Bag 2 School’ campaign where old clothing is brought into school and is sent off for recycling with the school being paid by the tonne for our contribution.
Mr Allman, Headteacher, photographed with student helpers, said: “The PTA is setting ambitious targets for this school year and, having already seen their funding support the fantastic re-development of the Sixth Form Centre, I know they will be racking up the fund for our students this school year”.
There will be another collection next term so watch out for the text reminders and with new Xmas wardrobes on the way get saving the old clothes up!
