Year 9 students attended a Science & Technology Challenge Day which was held at Stoke-on-Trent College and brought students from across Staffordshire together.
The day involved computer programming, robotics, a creative vehicle design project and E-Fit software.
The school was represented fantastically well by the students – so much so that Lewis Pass and Alex Wilson have been invited to the North West Challenge Final in Manchester in January 20917.
Alison Morris, Y8-Y9 Achievement Co-Ordinator, who organised the event, said: “We believe it is vital to stretch and challenge all of our students and make them understand that it is a creative and challenging world out there. This event did just that and we are hugely proud of how well our students permed against teams from across the region.”
